About Homeless Evolution
Housing is more than a place to stay. It is a foundation on which someone can rebuild stability, confidence and a sense of belonging.
A Cardiff-based, not-for-profit approach
Homeless Evolution provides supported accommodation for adults facing homelessness or housing insecurity. We work to make safe housing the beginning of longer-term progress—not simply the end of an immediate housing problem.
Our approach combines practical housing-related guidance, regular support contact and individual goals. We place dignity, consistency and personal responsibility at the centre of support.

Our guiding principles
Dignity and respect
We aim to listen without judgement and treat people as individuals, recognising their own choices, circumstances and strengths.
Practical and realistic
Support focuses on achievable actions—from housing routines and budgeting to attending appointments and engaging with specialist support.
Towards independence
We encourage residents to build confidence, community connections and skills that can help them sustain future housing.
What we offer
Our supported housing model focuses on low- to medium-level housing-related support. Depending on assessed needs, this may involve budgeting, managing day-to-day responsibilities, accessing benefits and services, building routines, and preparing for move-on accommodation.
We work with relevant professional services where appropriate, but we do not provide emergency overnight accommodation, clinical treatment or regulated care services.
Working alongside Cardiff’s wider support community
Appropriate referrals and collaboration may involve local housing teams, charities, health services, probation practitioners and other organisations. Each referral is considered on its own merits and subject to suitability and available places.
We aim to protect residents’ privacy. Stories and outcomes should be shared only in appropriately anonymised form and with suitable safeguards.
